When Plain Sight began producing he delivered his outstanding capability to create energetic bass music that is so diverse in sound and style that his fans and followers are always left excitedly, anticipating what he will do next. Despite this diversity, his love for crisp growls and punchy kicks are very apparent. The huge positive response to his music fed his 6 year long passion for making it. This ultimately led Plain Sight to leave a 4 and a half year career in the defence force to pursue music. This decision turned out to be an amazing one, not just for himself but for the Australian bass music community.
Before he even had a live gig Plain Sight did an official remix of “Go Girls” for one of Sydney’s biggest Trap Producers/DJs, Stalker. Even without live gigs of his own, his high quality sound design never went unnoticed with his music getting thousands of plays on SoundCloud and, also featured in the sets of one of Brisbane’s most popular Dubstep DJs, Razzle. The first time he ever played live, at Birdees in Brisbane, he played a multitude of his own music and the crowd created a circle mosh which, luckily, was streamed live online for all of his fans to see.
This first gig was only a taste of what was to come for the humble, young Brisbane producer. The weeks that followed saw him thrown into one of the hottest new events in Brisbane, Filth Sundays. He was then asked to compete against 13 of the best bass music DJs in Brisbane at Trapstep (now known as Havoc) for the chance to support Code Pandorum in their next Brisbane show. He was also asked to play at the popular Normanby Hotel in the same weekend.
During this sudden spike in popularity Plain Sight never lost sight of were his true passion lies, in making music. Although he relishes looking over a sweaty, happy crowd his main focus is creating energetic, face-melting bass music for as many crowds to enjoy as possible.
